As we reflected on our mission to illuminate the world that surrounds our children, we decided to produce a quarterly publication to look at what is good and not so good about our world—but most especially how it affects the precious little people with whom we share it.
That reflection resulted in a publication we titled The Stepping Stone and it is through this venue that we provide up-to-date scientific information and scholarly advice to our readers, which we believe will allow them to become better informed about the products they use in their daily lives. We hope this, in turn, translates to their making healthier choices and purchases, as well as the manner in which products are used, maintained and stored.
We created our journal to be a fun, easy read, which we believe is as attractive as it is relevant and concise as well as direct in its presentation. Our topics vary from issue to issue with some follow-ups as new data and information surfaces from scientists and experts in the field. We are ever mindful of the fact that we are only the messengers of information that relates to the health of our children and are therefore dedicated to ensuring that The Stepping Stone remains free of bias, opinions or viewpoints of this Institute. As a sidebar, we call upon industry to provide accountability for the products it produces and markets to the public.
Our efforts in creating this publication are not without some expense and it is through the generous support of many corporations, foundations and individuals that we enter into our
third year of publication. To learn how to get The Stepping Stone delivered to you, please click on the Subscribe link on this page.
